As employers across the state begin reopening businesses, it’s important to consider the health and safety
of employees and consumers. On Thursday, May 7, 2020 from 1-2 p.m., VUMC’s Dr. David Aronoff, MD,
will discuss antibody testing and answer questions about workplace and employee safety during a live
Q&A session. Dr. Aronoff is the Addison B. Scoville Chair in Medicine and Director of the Division of
Infectious Diseases at VUMC. The live Q&A will be hosted by Vanderbilt Health Employer Solutions.

You will learn:

Workplace safety enhancements, including temperature screening, masking protocols, efficient
and effective use of personal protective equipment, and hand hygiene expectations

Appropriate cleaning, disinfection and sanitization procedures

Strategies for safe physical distancing and preparing work areas

Recommendations on office layouts to ensure proper physical distancing of workspaces and
common areas, as well as suggestions for visitor policies and in-person meeting guidelines
