Weekly Wrap-Up: January 18, 2019

Happy Friday!
Get your milk and bread, we may have snow this weekend.  It was another busy week here. Lauren and I trained more and worked on lots of upcoming projects.
Next week you will be receiving a Membership Survey to help program and makes changes to improve the Chamber, and to also make sure we are doing what you would like us to! In addition to that, you will also be receiving Membership Sticker options that you are going to get to vote on! I can't wait to share these with you!

Preds Pride Night-
You got several emails from me about Predator Pride night. I hope you are coming and I hope you have your tickets. “Where are people sitting? is the main question we are getting. If you enter the pride code, the seats that come up are in the pride sections, you will be around other community members and friends. There is not another way for us to tell you exactly where everyone is sitting. Buy a couple of seats together and you will have fun and make new friends.
Everyone gets to hang out together as one before the game and the reception. Doors open at 5:25 and you have to have a ticket to get into the reception. Puck drops at 7.
The shirts are awesome! Really nice quality and awesome logo!
Brewed up some business!
We had over 70 people attend the January Brewing Up Business yesterday at Clean Eatz. Thank you to Clean Eatz for hosting and for the delicious food! You can hear more about Clean Eatz and other Chamber announcements here and you can see pictures here.

Don’t be an A**hole Townhall-
We are excited to announce our partnership with The OUT Foundation, to bring this nationwide townhall tour dubbed the Don't Be An A**hole Nashville, Transgender Education Tour to the area.
The goal of the town hall is to serve the greater CrossFit, fitness and general business community on best practices for ensuring your space is a safe space for transgender and gender non-conforming athletes.
We hope you can join us for this important conversation. There will be a fun community workout called OutWod after if you want to get your sweat on or just watch! We will go brunch after.
Conversations at OZ-
I am honored to have been asked to host a table for Conversations at Oz Arts Nashville. This is an incredible community event that brings together people to speak on diverse topics. I am discussing Diversity and Inclusion and how that prospers a thriving Nashville. Basically what we do with businesses and how they are leading the way on equality issues and why Nashville is so great in fostering this. It will be a fun night and an interesting conversation. Join me.
Pride in the Arts-
Our member TPAC is offering a discount for the upcoming show Les Ballet Trockadero. Click here and use code LGBTCHAMBER for your discount! #meberhsiphasitsperks
Les Ballet Trockadero was founded in 1974 by a group of ballet enthusiasts for the purpose of presenting a playful, entertaining view of traditional classical ballet in parody form and en travesti. The original concept of the show has not changed. It is a company of professional male dancers performing the full range of the ballet and modern dance repertoire, including classical and original works in faithful renditions of the manners and conceits of those dance styles. The comedy is achieved by incorporating and exaggerating the foibles, accidents and underlying incongruities of serious dance. The fact that men dance all the parts - heavy bodies delicately balancing on toes as swans, sylphs, water sprites, romantic princesses and angst-ridden Victorian ladies - enhances rather than mocks the spirit of dance as an art form, delighting and amusing the most knowledgeable, as well as novices, in the audience.
