Happy New Year and Happy Snow Day! I hope you had a wonderful holiday and are staying warm and off the streets (unless you are sledding down them and enjoying the snow). I will be out sledding soon I hope. I had a wonderful holiday and took a much-needed break, and I also turned 40! Thanks for all the birthday wishes.
Did you see the Annual Report we published? Take a look at what we have all accomplished together. 2021 was a good year in a difficult year. We grew and moved forward in many ways while facing challenges and hardships, and we got through it by working together and with one another. We are looking forward to an even better 2022, and we can’t do it without you.
Another person we could not do this without is our Membership Manager, Lauren Bland, who is celebrating her 3 year anniversary with the Chamber today! I call her my work-wife as we spend so much time together, but she is also a dear friend and I could not run this organization without her assistance, and we would not be where we are without her work. I hope everyone is aware of how she has helped grow the member benefits and programs that we have. Thank you, Lauren!
COVID continues to rage with the Omicron variant and we are starting our networking where we started it in 2021. We have decided to move the January Network Connect to virtual this month and we will assess February and make a decision at the beginning of the month. We hope you understand the need to slow the spread as much as possible with this variant. We also hope that you are vaccinated AND boosted.
Take a look below at the MANY more programs we have coming your way and what we have been working on. Cheers to the start of 2022 and our work together.
