We hope you are hanging in there and healthy. COVID-19 numbers keep rising and we are still headed in the wrong direction. A second shutdown is looming if we cannot get these cases down. Yet, with all of this, we still see people not wearing them and some businesses not requiring them. We hope you will do your part in wearing one and for speaking out and calling for others that are not wearing one.
It has been very difficult for me to understand why people don’t wear a mask , maybe you are feeling the same way. I read an article that helped explain some things and I have tried to keep this mind as we continue to educate and advocate for mask usage and in general. I can’t recommend the article The Role of Cognitive Dissonance in the Pandemic enough to help you better understand these times and also how to maybe change minds and behaviors in other areas. |

Take a look at other items from the week below. We are looking for new board members and we really enjoyed networking and connecting at our Brewing Up Business. I needed that event to recharge. I hope you can recharge and find the energy to keep getting through this. We are here for you. |

 | If you haven’t done so already, we strongly encourage our business members to sign the Good to Go pledge.
