New and Renewing Members-

Please join us in welcoming the following businesses that joined our Chamber this week:

Mayor’s Small Business Announcement-

Mayor Briley announces three tools to help local businesses prosper in honor of small business week: the Nashville Business Portal, The Navigator, and KivaNashville. These tools were developed to assist small business owners at all stages and will be utilized by our members to grow their businesses. We will have much more information and trainings on these resources in the months to come. Links for these tools can be found here.

Nashville Pride Guide-

Limited space remains in the 2019 Pride Guide published by member Out&About Nashville! The Nashville Pride Guide is the only official print book for the 31st Annual Nashville Pride Festival and only a few pages remain to see your business or organization listed.  Please contact will@outandaboutnashville.com for further information.

The deadline is Monday, May 20th, so don't wait too long!

Grow with Google-

Pathways Lending, SCORE Nashville, Corner to Corner, Culture Shift Team, and Black Entrepreneur Week invite you to attend Grow with Google. Learn how customers find your business online and how to promote your online presence using search engine optimization (SEO) and online advertising. We’ll also introduce tools that will help you run your business online, including Google Analytics and Trends. Dave Delaney, a Google-supported trainer, will be teaching this very important topic. This event is expected to sell out so hold your place now!

Black Chamber Event-

Please join the Nashville Black Chamber as they collaborate with the US Black Chambers Inc., Small Business Roundtable and Paypal to celebrate Small Business Month with Paypal for the monthly "The Social" on May 30th from 6 pm - 9 pm. “Celebrate Paypal’s Small Business Month with the Small Business Roundtable as we discuss how small businesses can leverage digital technology as tools to grow and develop their businesses. This conversation around technology will include discussion specific to how those innovative technology tools and trends are beneficial to underserved businesses by providing an easier way for owners to manage their small businesses. Network with business leaders over light refreshments as we discuss the future of small business. This event is free but you must register to attend”.
